Time Management When There’s Not Enough Time. Project managers are taught from the very start that how they manage their time will be critical to their success. Choosing what to focus on first, where to concentrate their efforts and what to defer or delegate is critical not just for the PM, but also for the project. Sometimes PMs just don’t have enough time to do everything. What do you do then?

To the owners or executive managers of SMEs looking for serenity and time control, even if they rarely think of it spontaneously, I like to advise to start with the implementation of a 5S system.

Even in the most performing organisations, people are confrontated to problems on a daily basis. What makes the difference between a high and a low performing organisation is the ability to solve efficiently the problems met on a daily basis. Low performing organisations simply take the problems as a bad chance and they are complaining about them to justify the low performance. High performing organisations take each problem as an opportunity to improve. Three basic mistakes in the Problem Solving process are: - Rush instead of thinking & acting fastly ; - Think too much and keep in the planning phase for many "good" reasons (meanwhile the problem has changed) ; - Run alone and not empower the team (no participative approach).

We are currently fully facing the COVID-19 pandemic and trying to overcome the obstacles that this time brings to our companies and organizations. What could this situation tell us? Could we have been better prepared as managers on operational level?

Trying to convince someone with an argument is an attempt to give reasons why you believe a statement, why you want something, or why you do something. The argument refers to your critical abilities, your reason.

An easy solution that does not require any usernames or passwords can lower the barrier of meeting people online. Privately. There are many commercially successful video conferencing platforms but in many articles you can find online the open alternative is not even mentioned. So I chose to not mention the others here. Just open alternatives. And when I say open, it means anyone is free to run an instance as part of their infrastructure or even use any of the available publicly-running instances.
