Unrealistic release to operation

Success Problem

Client planned unrealistic scope to be release to operation for defined time before Xmas.

Impact

There was risk of not having ready all required products OR not being feasible to release full required scope OR impacting the Production system with limited resourced to fix the problem.

Recommendation

more advisory role of PM came into play running the simulation of different scenarios to find out, what is feasible within accepted level of risk and level of the business need.
