In the Project, the project manager from Customer's side did report status while involving also personal expectations.
Some items from the scope were about to be shifted to next release which was not clearly communicated on the customer's side. Client was raising questions to be explained.
Key decisions, changes in any aspect of the project (e.g. Scope, Time, Budget, Benefits, Quality, Risk) have to be communicated to all key stakeholders in official communication. If required, ad hoc meeting should be organized.
