Success Problem

We give a single side vertical labeling machine to a company at vidisha city in Madhya Pradesh. There a problem occurs, the product quality was not good so the label could not stick at the place. So after some arrangement in machine program, it got smoothly running and production came quickly.

Impact

Due to this program, the customer might give the machine back because the operator could not understand how to set up the machine for a different product.

Recommendation

I would recommend that when the customer order a machine his product should be checked and also the label quality and placing of the label

  1. This is a great example showing the necessity for a vendor/supplier to realize that the customer is not buying just the machine itself, but the value it is expected to create. Thus the task is not just to deliver the machine and go away, but to make the machine producing the expected value (of course with the customer's cooperation required). In some cases this could be a crucial mindshift towards satisfied and long term customers.
