It really depends on motivator what will be the outcome.

Recommendation

Points to remember to make it a success: 1. Motivation is a journey not a destination. 2. Motivation is a continuous process including hard work. 3. Do not let motivation fade away if you do not see success immediately. Learning process takes time. 4. Motivation equals acceptance. 5. Engage all even those who are reluctant to participate.

  1. Thank you, Henrieta, for your post about motivation. There are many, many tools for motivation and managers often do not know how to apply them or where to start, as motivation is more soft skills and ability of a manager to work with people. In my opinion though, the easiest is just to talk to people about what makes them happy at work, what drives them in what they do and prepare some next steps based on learnings - could be some new task delegated on the team member, or removal of demotivational work, or celebrating success in some way etc. There are so many ways! And it is important to remember: Money is not motivator, just short-term stimulator.
