To ensure that the project manager operates purposeful and effectively, he/she must adjust the project management to the business processes of the perma-nent organization, generating the part of the project microenvironment.

Impact

Project manager, program manager and portfolio manager can manage projects, programs and portfolios in cooperation with business processes of the project procuror‘s and project outputs deliverer’s organizations.

Recommendation

Business processes are processes necessary for provision of activities, goods and services of the permanent organization (operative management of the permanent organization), as well as for its development (strategic management of the permanent organization). This applies to the profit (business) organiza-tions as well for the non-profit organizations. And reversely, the top management of the permanent organization affects the project effectiveness as to how it arranges the business processes: • financing, • informations and documentation, • procurement and contracts, • organizational learning, • human resource management.
